The mission of Barkada of Santa Clara University (hereinafter referred to as Barkada of SCU) is to promote the awareness of the Filipino culture and community on the SCU campus through education, networking, social justice, and social activities/events while upholding its heritage, traditions, and relationships.

    Our big/little program!

    Friendship Games: Friendship Games began in 1986 and features over 40 Pilipinx American Student organizations from college campuses representing California, Nevada, and Arizona. These students come to participate in a day of friendly but competitive picnic games, performances, and to celebrate

  • “S.P.U.F” – Spirit, Pride, Unity, and Friendship

    Schools compete for the chance to take home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies, and the school that shows the most S.P.U.F is awarded an 8 foot tall trophy.

  • Barrio Fiesta!

    Barrio Fiesta! at SCU aims to encase the liveliness and energy of Filipino and Fil-Am culture through performances, vendors and activities

  • BPCN (Barkada Pilipino Culture Night)

    Our annual two night culture show that showcases Filipino culture and heritage through traditional dances, skits, and music
